Exchange Focused on Islamic Startups to Open on Malta
The exchange Huulk has applied for a licence on Malta. The main aim of the platform – to attract sharia compliant fintech startups and Muslim investors. The firm also plans to establish partnership with several European platforms.
Huulk plans to list around 20 Islamic organizations, some of which are based in Turkey and Malaysia. The platform is also one of the OneGram Companies – they provide cryptocurrencies backed by gold. OneGram Group plans to add its sharia compliant crypto to the exchange by the middle of September.
Oxford Researcher Wants to Open the Blockchain University on Malta
Joshua Broggi – the researcher from Oxford – plans to establish the first blockchain-based university in the world. The new Woolf University will offer both online and onsite courses, and the technology will help to save costs.
Studying in the DLT-based university will be possible from any place in the world. Attendance, completion of tasks and lecturers’ salary will be controlled by smart contracts.
The founder’s aim – to open five colleges at once, and then launch applications to academics with a doctorate.
Elon Musk Says He Wants ETH Even If It’s a Scam
In Twitter conversation, Elon Musk – CEO at Tesla and SpaceX – has said he would want to get ETH coins even in case it’s a scam. It was the answer to the developer Adam McMurchie who offered Musk 200 ETH for any information about the BFR rocket or its demonstration.
The conversation has started from the message that Twitter has removed 486 accounts for coordinated manipulation.
Korean TV Channel Will Broadcast Reality Show to Find New Satoshi
The Asia Economy TV channel plans to start broadcasting a new show called “Blockbattle — Who’s the Next Satoshi.” The first episode is set to be broadcasted on October 19.
The show participants will be the crypto developers from all over the world. In general, the show will feature 5 episodes, giving viewers the opportunity to vote for the winner of the blockchain building contest.
The aim is to find the next Satoshi Nakamoto. Ten blockchain developers’ teams will reach the final, and the winner will get $89,000.
